I prayed for wind today. Thought it was in vain. But to my pleasure we had glorious, beautiful, windy day. To my great sadness...got 2 pictures and the batteries on the camera died. Of course! Hopefully we'll get to do it again soon and have Pat take the pictures. But both boys did fly the kite. As well as a little boy at the park. It was so windy that Pat had a time trying to get the kite down. We had such a grand time. All 3 kids rode to the park (in our neighborhood) in the wagon. It has a little trailer attachment just the right size for Nora. We brought the Kite blanket Grandma Suzanne made for us. Which was the only blanket worthy to come on this adventure. And best of all...it was only 75! We won't see another day like that until November. Thank you for answered prayers and wind!

This reminded me of a saying...."I made you a kite so you would look up." I like that saying. How fun to spend a day at the park with your little ones and the weather is beautiful...I'm dreading the heat!
Please let your mom and dad know, we went to Berniece Jesperson's viewing tonight. Roy and Berniece lived in our ward here in Mesa, which was a wonderful treat. Her funeral is tomorrow at 11:00.
Hey Jessica, I loved your mother of the year post. That was awesome. I was laughing out loud and told my mom about it. Glad I found your blog. Now I can spy on you too. Hope all is well.
So glad you (and the darling kiddos) got the wind you wanted. What a treat!!
