And this is what she mostly does...so far!We are so glad that she has been such a good baby! After Kyle and his reflux and Nora and all of her special issues...its about time. And what do we like best? Maybe not best, but we really appreciate? She takes a pacifier! Thank Goodness. Our 2 middle babies - with the special issues - did not take pacifiers until they were 7 and 8 months old and on bottles.
Speaking of our other babies, they LOVE their "new baby June". So much that they are always asking to hold her and kiss her. So that's really fun to see. I was worried about Nora being a Jealous Jan but so far she isn't. We can hope that it continues this way. She adores June and wants to love on her as much as she can. As soon as she sees her in the morning she squeals with delight and wants to get as close as possible. Sadly, June doesn't always appreciate all of the showered attention. She better get used to it. This was the dinner conversation this evening:
"I want to hold new baby June."
"I would love for you to hold her after you eat your dinner."
"I don't want to eat my dinner."
"You need to eat your dinner before you can hold her."
Etc...
Seriously, we are having to use threats like that? How long will that last? They are young, true, but I'm sure it will wear off all too soon.
Here are pictures of each of her siblings holding her for the first time. As you can see, by the time it was Nora's turn, June was done being loved.

We were so lucky to have Grandma Suzanne here again. And terribly saddened when she left this morning. We would love for her to move in. She is so much fun! We might actually have to go out and make friends now. The kids are going to be so bored without her around. Its amazing how quickly my mom can brighten a room, a situation, a life. Because of her we are now friends with some of our neighbors. In fact we had our across the street neighbors stop by last night with a little gift for the baby. We hardly know them but my mom has visited with them a couple of times and went over to their house to borrow sugar once. (Ask Lane, he'll tell you all about it) Anyway, they came over last night because they knew my mom was leaving today and wanted to be able to say goodbye. I truly hope someday to be like her. I am so blessed to be her daughter. Thanks mom, again and again.

Congratulations! So Sweet!!! Glad you guys are doing well!
what a doll!! congrats.
and p.s. you are so funny about the 4 and 7 letter names. I love it!!!
I think it's great that you have something to hold over their head to get them to eat dinner! I need something like that for Cason! Eat your dinner, or else you don't get to hold the baby! LOL! I love it!
Have fun with your 4 babies! :) (hey, I don't have to defend that remark do I)? Ok, ok, fine, Lane, you are NOT a baby. And Kyle, your 2 going on 20, so ... technically you only have 2 babies, but until they can do everything for themselves, I think they are all still babies! :) I dont' know how you are going to do it, but somehow, you'll make it! Enjoy those TEEN years! LOL!
Oh how I love your mom too...and I think you have a lot of your mom in you...and I think your story about June Allison is a pretty special one and I think I was probably one of those lame people that made a comment about the actress...sorry. She is beautiful...I do think I see a little of Johnny in her tho...
She's so beautiful!! I'm glad the other kids are so excited for her to be in your family!
