We decided to tough it out and stay here on our own.

Too make things interesting, I packed up the kids and drove to Seattle to see my brother Darin and his wife Charla. Its only a 3 hour drive. Totally doable for a day trip. Darin was performing in an Opera and I wanted to see it. So Charla was a HERO and offered to watch all of the kids for 3 hours. What a champ! Cheers to her! It was a kooky Opera that was fun to watch. I hadn't been without my kids (well, for anything besides a doctor's appointment) since May. Well overdue!

We go there a couple times a week. She loves to play with other kids. It is also fun to watch her try new things! Sounds like you guys are doing well also. I commend you for practically being a single mother!

Our very next door neighbor to the west of us...her hubby is on the show BIGGEST LOSER and he has been gone since September...of course the longer he is gone that is great news...it means he is still winning...but if he wins he'll be there till February...she has three small children and I am just amazed at how she keeps on a truckin'...she already has her Christmas tree up and lights on the house and planted new flowers...she is seriously putting me to shame....anyway...I'm sure you wanted a novel on here....but I am really impressed with you and ALL you have been asked to do....YOU HANG IN THERE...You are a great mom...obviously you learned from the BEST! Your own sweet mom who I love and miss...HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF YOU!
